Crossmann Communities, Inc., which Beazer acquired effective April 2002. On a
pro forma basis, new orders for the month and quarter ended June 30, 2001
including Crossmann's orders would have been 1,450 and 4,539, respectively.
New orders for the month ended June 30, 2002 and 2001 include no units for affordable housing developments being built through governmental programs. New orders for the quarter ended June 30, 2002 and 2001 include 0 and 154 units, respectively, being built through such programs.
