Beazer Homes Building WaterSense Homes in Phoenix
Beazer Homes is strengthening its commitment to sustainability by partnering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) WaterSense® program to provide WaterSense labeled homes in the Phoenix metro area. Communities certified to meet WaterSense criteria include Tirreno at IronWing, Sevilla at IronWing, Cassia at Vistancia, and Acacia Foothills at Estrella.
Beazer’s promise of Surprising Performance means each home is built with quality that exceeds expectations, improved indoor air quality for healthier living, and superior comfort. Working with WaterSense Home Certification Organizations and their trained verifiers, Beazer’s single-family homes in Phoenix will be certified to meet WaterSense criteria for water savings and performance. The homes will include WaterSense labeled products and additional regionally appropriate water-saving strategies, both indoors and outdoors. All WaterSense labeled homes are independently certified to be at least 30 percent more water-efficient than a typical new home to save water, energy, and money while performing well.
“WaterSense labeled homes are an investment that helps consumers save water, energy, and money on utilities,” said Veronica Blette, WaterSense branch chief. “In fact, compared to a typical home, on average, a WaterSense labeled home will save a family 50,000 gallons of water per year or more. These savings can add up to more than $700 in utility bill savings.”
“We’re excited to build on our promise of Surprising Performance by partnering with WaterSense, saving consumers money and protecting natural resources,” said Ryan Johnson, Division President. “A Beazer WaterSense labeled home is not only a wise investment for homeowners, but it’s an investment in our community and the future of our planet.”
