New orders for the one-month and two-month periods ended August 31, 2002, include orders from Crossmann Communities, Inc., which Beazer acquired effective April 17, 2002. On a pro forma basis, new orders for the one-month and two-month periods ended August 31, 2001, including Crossmann's orders would have been 1,141 and 2,385 respectively.
