PRESS RELEASE ------------- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BEAZER HOMES ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF $100 MILLION SENIOR NOTES OFFERING ATLANTA, GEORGIA, MARCH 25, 1998 - Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (NYSE: BZH) announced the closing today of its offering of $100 million principal amount of 8 7/8% Senior Notes, due April 2008, at a price to investors of 99.183% per Senior Note. The Company used the proceeds of the Senior Notes offering to repay debt outstanding under its revolving credit facility. Beazer Homes USA, Inc., based in Atlanta, Georgia is one of the country's ten largest single family homebuilders, with operations in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
