Beazer Homes Now Offering Energy Series READY Homes at The Groves of Berkeley in Moncks Corner, S.C.

April 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT

Charleston, S.C. – April 25, 2024 – Beazer Homes is excited to announce the launch of its Energy Series READY Homes at its newest community, The Groves of Berkeley in Moncks Corner, S.C. Since opening in February, homebuyers now have access to the most energy-efficient homes built by Beazer today at The Groves of Berkeley. Each Energy Series READY home built will be certified by the U.S. Department of Energy as a Zero Energy Ready HomeTM, which the DOE estimates to be 40-50 percent more energy efficient than a typical new home.

"Every Beazer home is meticulously crafted with the future at the forefront,” says Greg Coffey, president of Beazer Homes' Charleston division. “Through a blend of innovative technology, thoughtful design, and lifestyle considerations, we aim to reduce energy usage, cut utility expenses, and cultivate environments that promote wellness and comfort for our residents."

For more than 25 years, Beazer has been a leading homebuilder, known for building above the current code standards and beyond industry expectations. Beazer was the first U.S. national homebuilder to publicly commit that by the end of 2025, every single-family home built will meet the requirements of the U.S. DOE Zero Energy Ready Home program.

“We’re elevating our customers’ experience with superior quality and comfort made possible through  innovation in our construction practices,” Coffey says. “We take pride in the relationships we’ve built with top-tier industry partners. Aligned with our vision, they enable us to build high-performance homes that are built for what’s ahead.”

Additionally, Beazer’s Energy Series READY homes are ENERGY STAR® certified and Indoor airPLUS® qualified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Behind the walls of each Beazer home are innovative, energy-efficient features to improve home performance and maintain ideal temperatures, giving homeowners control over their comfort. Each home is designed to filter indoor air, which reduces outside pollutants like mold and toxic chemicals. This means healthier living with improved air quality and comfort.

The Groves of Berkeley is a community of single-family detached homes within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops at Moncks Corner Marketplace. Customers can select one of five floorplans that range from 1,633 to 3,232 sq. ft., offering three to six bedrooms, two to four baths, and the option to add a three-car garage. Furthermore, buyers are given the flexibility of Beazer’s Choice Plans®, which provide the option to choose room-specific layouts to create their ideal living space, at no additional cost.
